Counterweight gives studio tripods stability

The pocket-shaped Jinbei counterweight has two chambers that can be closed with zippers, which you can fill with up to a total of five kilograms of sand . On lamp tripods, you can attach the sandbag to the center column or place it over a tripod leg. With the balance weight you secure the stable stand of the tripod and prevent it from tipping over and possible damage to the equipment.

With the boom stand, the sandbag belongs to the end of the boom. The balance weight shifts the center of gravity away from a heavy flash and light shaper combination towards the center of the tripod. The counterweight minimizes the risk of the boom tilting forward and you use the maximum height and load capacity of your boom stand.
